Drone Professional Services still need assistance to win their best role in this modern world and excel at what they deserve

Drone technology has been around for civil applications since 10 years and certainly has already come out of the pioneering phase. However, the market has not yet strengthened what these magical flying robots can do to support and serve the digital implementation of the world.

Drones deal with most of the advanced technologies that underlie the 4.0 industrial revolution. Robotics, Avionics, Micro Technology, Communication, 5G, Internet of Things, Localization, GNSS, Lidar, Smart Sensors, Cloud Computing, Digital Twins, Smart City, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Operational Security and Cybersecurity, just to name a few.

Therefore, somebody says… Drone can do… all

Really, we are facing a lot of new technological matters creating new working opportunities from where we all try to learn and to get new business to finalize.

But the concern is…. HOW?

Infrastructures and rules to deal with and to manage all that are just entering the game. Then the way to move forward is not clear yet. We can really state that we are in a second pioneering phase. Somebody will call it “consolidation” since drones strive to continue their successes while trying to eradicate the risks involved.

The ocean of available opportunities is vast

We all want to ride this immense wave and get the profit we deserve

What is the most common way to improve our capabilities to surf it: learn from the experts, isn’t? And there we have courses, a lot of…  How to, whatever…. 10 steps to, anything…. Finally, use drone and become rich….

The transfer of knowledge and experience for profitable usage of drones are the emphasized services common to all sectors, applications and business activities of drone technology.

Someone does it professionally, for the benefit of customers and mutual profit, while someone does it with a focus on quick wins.

Therefore, we are witnessing this second pioneering phase characterized by two opposite aspects:

  1. High energy to get it done according to the incoming rules
  2. A wild growth to catch and cash in as much as possible

The COVID-19 crisis has moved the world online where anything is possible. There are 4.72 billion internet users in the world today.

Everyone can sell the proper niche in the market and everyone is an expert in front of anyone who needs help.

And the words Expert, Consultancy, Coaching, Mentoring, Training are widely used to offer courses and then enriched with operational programs whose titles recall the difficulties of customers. A promise, something like, you pay to get rid of your pains.

However, some programs are executed in such a limited time and sometimes at such low prices that it raises doubts.

Think about leveraging a marketing campaign for millions of prospective customers for a quick training at 79$. If just a couple of thousand buy it, the final profit is incredible.

Naturally, at Drone-to-Business we believe that mixing a little bit of everything in a learning program doesn’t create a solution, but it shows instead how complex the solution can be. And tackling the headlines doesn’t solve a job well done, but it gives a general idea of each topic.

It’s like eating the peel of the fruit and not getting the fruit to taste.

What a frustration. Finally, I know that I can do a lot, but I am still not able to do it.

Knowledge should not be confused with information.

Today information is even free of charge from the web. It requires experience and verification to consolidate in the capability to properly execute the work.

Then, integrate skills into patterns to properly achieve results and finally monetize it.

“Tackling headlines” is great for organizing the knowledge that already exists.

On the other hand, building new knowledge for profitable use of the technology requires flexibility and a bit more time than a quick training.

A method to learn: Immersion, Repetition, Implementation & Mastery

There are different approaches and services for different needs and different types of customers.

Customer storyline 1.  I need a consultant to understand

Assuming I want to do something different or new on the market. I want first to understand the situation and the market opportunities. I should point out and emphasize what I have and clarify what to do to challenge development. Obviously, I first investigated on my own, but in the end,  I need an expert to conclude and I request the service of a CONSULTANT.

After some intense activity, he will provide me with a final ADVICE REPORT.

The report may include an analysis of the issues I am facing and the targets I expect to achieve.  I will receive expert assessments, opinions and recommendations for improving my organization and a development plan, as well as optional strategies for setting up an investment policy and possibly suggestions on the most suitable tools to purchase.

I pay for the consulting report and I go through the documentation to finally make my decision.

Customer storyline 2.  I need training to learn

I decided to follow the implementation plan suggested by the consultant. I reorganized my team and activities and I purchased the suggested equipment and tools. Now I need to learn how to use it. Therefore, I request the service of a TRANING expert.

He will provide me with explanations and information on the tools I have acquired.  We could use my data to practice my data workflow, but the goal is to learn the tools.

I pay for a period of training to learn as much as possible about the hardware and software, the available commands and the possible options.

Customer storyline.3.  I need a coach to implement the solution

I have all the consultant stated that I need to do my work, but in order to put it into practice for my real day to day business, I realized that it is a bit complicated.  I can learn by doing or take the fast track and get the help of a COACH.

The expert who can prepare me to challenge my goals, reveal my new skills in that field and maximize my executions. And he does it with me while accomplishing my real jobs. Finally, organize the use of hardware and software to optimized workflows and guides me to easily execute my projects and improve revenues.

I pay to become an expert too, ready to enter the competitions’ arena with my new business project.

Customer storyline 4.  Difficulties are all around and I want to re-boost. I need a Mentor

Things are not going the way I planned. Success is not there with the figures I expected.  I need help to understand, may tune or apply changes and move higher. But I don’t want to know what I already know. I do want to know why I can’t get what I want through what I want.  I request the help of a MENTOR.

An expert to drive my personal and business growth to the next level, discovering the things that prevent me from achieving what I want: technically and emotionally. Finally, help me enter a new framework of thinking with a true innovation mindset capable of transforming my tech business into clear value for my clients.

I pay to maximize my potential, consolidate my vision and work profitably.

What did we learn?

We all want to achieve results as soon as possible. Then, first drone and second flying. We love make drones flying. Therefore, buying the drone is often the first step we take to enter the business and learn to fly is a requirement anyway.

The challenge is to take this new skills into a profitable activity.

Implementing strengths, workflows and business model only after having completed the investment can become a complex path to follow and solve …. even costly.

Not to underestimate the emotional impact of possible initial negative results. It can block the positive implementation of our decisions, our mindset that leads to the energy of success.

At Drone-to-business we believe that we are all equal human beings, the difference is on the way we discover our potential, take decisions and act in a defined direction.

To monetize a technological development is then a great game.

Let’s try it !
